Meadow Close
The Meadow Close complex has proved to be the most popular place for old people to live and tenancies are eagerly sought. The sheltered housing scheme consisting of almost 40 bungalows and maisonettes, a central community hall and a warden in attendance. The complex off Meadow Lane was was built by South Kesteven District Council and officially opened on 10th April 1980 by Lord Ancaster who unveiled a commemorative plaque, He was accompanied at the ceremony by his daughter, Councillor Lady Jane Willoughby, who was chairman of the council's housing committee at that time.
