The tower of the Abbey Church is reckoned to be 100 feet above sea level and so provides a panoramic view of the town and district. Inspired by the beautiful spring evening, Jim Jones, a sidesman at the church and inveterate photographer, climbed the narrow and tortuous winding staircase of 120 steps and captured these shots which will give many their first bird's eye view of Bourne.
