The 1950s/Jubilee Exhibition

The Civic Society staged an exhibition featuring life in the 1950s at the Heritage Centre in Bourne during the spring of 2012 to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

The display contained a wide range of articles amassed by Jim and Brenda Jones including photographs from the period, clothing, reproductions of advertisements and other items to show what life was like at the time Queen Elizabeth acceded to the throne in 1952.

The exhibition opened on Saturday 5th May and ran until June 10th, opening every day from 2 pm until 4 pm.
