Aerodyne Equipment

The specialist parts firm Aerodyne Equipment moved to Bourne in late 2012 after re-locating from Perivale in north-west London. The firm was originally trading from Innovation House until taking over the premises previously occupied by Trackline International in Tunnel Bank which closed in March 2012 after going into administration with the loss of thirty jobs.

Aerodyne, which was founded in 1979, manufactures bespoke aerodynamic solutions for lorries and other commercial vehicles. The company bought the 15,407 sq ft warehouse premises and surrounding yard on the Cherry Holt Industrial Estate for £302,000 from the property consultants Savills Peterborough who were acting on behalf of the administrators.

A company spokesman told the Stamford Mercury (8th February 2013): "We have a very intense plan for development and growth at our factory in Bourne over the next few years. We have brought ten employees with us from London and have taken on three new employees in the area and are actively recruiting new staff to join our skilled workforce to help the company to continue to grow."
