The Abbey Church in 1809

This engraving of the west front of the Abbey Church was published
in 1809 by John Moore in his book "Collections for a topographical,
historical and descriptive account of the Hundred of Aveland".
The fine copper engraving was the work of Benjamin Howlett
from an original drawing by T Phillips.
